Cwoardelia and his two legged friend Flicky Licky set the trail from The Woodstock and also laid on some amazing weather too, which was most welcome. Seaman Staines was first on the scene, reliving his 1960's life by having a sleep in his car. Cwoardelia left Flicky Licky at home for the trail though due to the very hot weather. Clearly not having his buddy with him sent him into a frenzy, so he had to calm himself down by the liberal application of alcohol.
The first segment of the trail was along the Mersey, and the pack then split up to allow the runners to stretch their legs whilst the walkers were treated to a lovely walk through the golf club. Unbeknownst to the pack, Cwoardelia had also laid on a little surprise of a Free Round at the beer stop (Northenden Untapped), for doing what he does best and helping out with some geekery.
The pack split up again shortly after the beer stop and the runners took it upon themselves to get a little lost, blaming the most excellent and clear markings rather than their own inadequate searching abilities. A quick call to the hare got them back on track again and we all reconvened at The Woodstock for more drinks. A lot more in some cases. There were many folks at the pub doing the Didsbury Dozen, and in his inebriated state, Cwoardelia spoke to most of them.
Attendees were Back Passage, Cwoardelia Snatch, Dancing Delight with Just Ralph (his first hash!), G-String, Just Karen, Seaman Staines & Sploosh.
