We met at The Jolly Sailor in Davenport, and along with the usual Manchester pack we were also joined by a couple from Seaman Staines's old stomping ground, who clearly knew that SS was away so the coast was clear. Also, Dan from Levy runners had somehow been convinced to come along and showed the runners a clean pair of heels.
The trail led us around various landmarks in the area, and we were treated to not one but two pub stops. The first being the Three Bears in Hazel Grove, followed by a visit to the Ladybrook before returning to the Jolly Sailor. We had a trip round the delightfully named Happy Valley (which, luckily, bore no resemblance to the TV series of the same name), and we also had a trot through Bramhall park. Cwoardelia was most animated after this point as he mentioned that his new gaff was "just over there". Luckily he didn't point, but he was admonished during the circle for his crimes all the same. Punishments were handed out to everyone - however Horny Devil seemed to fare the worst, and she was half cutr already. Crimes included hat wearing in the circle, pointing, tech on trail, calling a hasher by another hashers name, and worst of all being so good that they hadn't been called out by any of the other hashers.
Our hares for the day were Horny Devil and Beer Sniffer.
Attendees were Beano, Buggered in the woods, Cwoardelia Snatch, Herr Flash, Instant Whip, Just Dan, Just Peter, Piss Puppet, Purple Pimpernel and Sir Prancelot. Hash hounds were Flicky Licky and Poodini.

Naming!
It was high time that Just Peter was named - he's been attending the hash for just over a year, and we decided to strike today. Several names had been bandied about on the Name & Shame group, and these were put to the vote. I'm delighted to say that, with a vote of 5 present, please say hello to our new hasher Black Forest Twat-O.
Luckily for BFTO, we had no flour for the ceremony, so instead wood shavings were used, all washed down with beer.
